Multidisciplinary creative · remote collaboration

Kyle Figard

Creative Collaborator

I am a multidisciplinary creative who works with creators and teams to develop imaginative projects. I bring worldbuilding, narrative, systems, symbolism, identity, culture, and belief to the work—contributing ideas, developing material, solving creative problems, and helping each project become more coherent and fully itself.

One creative toolbox

  1. 01 Worlds
  2. 02 Narratives
  3. 03 Systems
  4. 04 Symbols
  5. 05 Belief

Selected work

A world bible, two books, a symbolic deck, an elemental game, and a published collaboration.

Each case study identifies what I created, explains the decisions behind it, and links to the actual artifact or published record.

The creative toolbox

I develop the relationships between a project’s parts.

A belief changes a culture. A rule changes player behavior. A symbol can carry both meaning and mechanics. I work across those connections.

I

Build the world

Worldbuilding, lore, cultural history, belief systems, atmosphere, and the internal truths that make an imagined place feel inhabited.

II

Find the story

Narrative foundations, story development, character, tension, theme, and the emotional question everything else grows around.

III

Make it function

Rules, relationships, categories, hierarchies, feedback, and structures that let a concept operate coherently rather than merely sound interesting.

IV

Give it identity

Symbolism, recurring motifs, conceptual synthesis, tone, and the choices that help a project become recognizably and fully itself.

Area of particular depth

Religion, spirituality, and belief

Cosmologies, mythologies, sacred practices, moral systems, institutions, sects, symbols, and the everyday relationship between belief, culture, politics, and history.

About the work

I like to work on creative projects.

That simple fact is the center of the role. I join creators and teams wherever an imaginative project needs ideas developed, material made, internal logic strengthened, or several influences resolved into a clearer identity.

I can enter for a defined piece of development or stay with a project through a longer creative phase. The shape can be freelance, subcontract, contract, or a suitable remote role; the contribution remains grounded in the work itself.

Work with me

Bring me the imaginative thing you are trying to make.

I am open to books, tabletop and card games, RPGs, video games, film, television, interactive media, and creative projects that do not fit neatly inside an established category.

Mode Remote, with asynchronous collaboration preferred
